Description: Omega Seamaster Cosmic Ref.166.035 Automatic Day/Date Watch - Needs Service Please read buying purchasing: This watch runs however the crown is not currently attached and when originally time tested amplitude was low and timekeeping a couple of minutes out. The date wheel has fading on multiple numbers & the day wheel looks to be in French. I don’t know the full condition of the day wheel. With a simple service this could be fixed up no problem! About the watch & condition: Here we have a stunning Omega Seamaster Cosmic circa 1969. It’s a gorgeous looking watch however is in need of a service for the reasons stated above. With some work it’ll make a stunning addition to anyone’s collection! More details below: This watch has a gorgeous dial, looks superb on the wrist! There’s some extremely minor patina along with some light general wear with a small scratch in the centre, it’s often covered by the hands so nothing too major whatsoever. The hands also have some light wear but still look great! The crystal on the watch isn’t the original and has been replaced. This is often the case with these older vintage omegas, luckily it’s nice & clean now as shown! The dials housed in a lovely stainless steel case with nice shaped lugs. Considering its age it’s in fantastic condition as shown, there’s some signs of general wear but nothing major at all. The watch has its original crown which originally did work including the quickset date. It has since popped out but will be sent with the watch along with the stem (stem could be broken I’m not certain). The date wheel is heavily worn as mentioned. Its sat on a nice black leather strap which suits the watch well. It’s not the original but looks good & will fit a wrist of up to 7 1/2 inches. It looks to have barely been used besides some wear on the edge of the bottom right side. This is an automatic watch meaning it runs off the movement of your wrist. The watch has a small power reserve however if left for a period of time it will have likely stopped. This is just for the watch, there’s no box or paperwork. This is common for a watch this age unfortunately.
