Vintage, irregular facsimile printing of an 1883 two volume set of Natural Genesis with much underlining, marginalia and notation to the original text and printed into the facsimile edition. Where the writing to the original text is illegible the publisher added marginal notations with the text. This usually occurs but in some places that are harder to read (but not illegible) because of distortion in the edition it doesn't. Not all pages, but perhaps a little less than half have some kind of original edition marks in the facsimile from the original edition it was produced. Books are in overall fine condition. Exteriors of the books themselves are overall very well intact and clean with only very minor rubs to outer corner edges of the boards or upper and lower ends of the spine. Interiors of the books are clean and well intact. Interiors are clean aside for the edition peculiarities as mentioned. Books' bindings are tight and well intact and the books are complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Volume I totals 553 pages and Volume II totals 535 pages both paginations then followed by publisher's catalogs at the ends of the books. Books together measure approximately 11 1/4 x 8 3/8 x 3 1/4 inches.
