Description: This is a rare hard to find Ignition lock for the 1970-1973 Ford Lincoln Mercury cars in truck with the ignition in the column, 1970-73 (Built before 5/14/73). Comes with the early style NOS FORD keys with the small hole and the record and detach key code tag. These will vary as I have a few of these.Will not work with dash mounted ignition locks As you can see in the 1st and last pictures, the word "LOCK" is not recessed and no rectangular box around it. This has just has the word LOCK on the chrome ears. This is from what I found one of the early style ignitions and then they changed them to have the recessed rectangular box around the word LOCK. I have some other NOS ford locks, so if you would like a set made of consisting of the Ignition, doors, trunk and or glove box, let me know.
