Description: Vintage 1977 SNOWY OWL Metallic Multi-Color Art Foil Print - Foil Highlights Give Light Holographic Look Beautifully Framed, Glass Covered Art Print - Signed (but I can't make it out - see photo close-up) Offered here is a lovely 1970's art print featuring a SNOWY OWL in a beautiful frame and in wonderful condition! The art print features silver, gold, and pearl metallic highlighting foils and takes on some color of its surrounding through reflection. The effect is hard to capture in the photos, but on the owl the pearly metallic on the feather tips appears as a bluish-white. The frame perfectly complements the metallics and is a multilayer, multi-trim wood frame finished in a sort of silvery taupe color with a fabric inner frame insert and a darker stain over-wash. The piece is in lovely condition and its frame is equally nice! Vintage, but in fine shape and no smoke odor. Corners tight, hanging wire in place on the back. The only flaw I really noted was a small ding on the frame edge lower front. I blew up a pic of it and circled for you to get a good look at. In regular view hard to notice unless aware. Originally tape covered the back edge, but its adhesive had really dried up over the years and was falling off, so I just pitched it. No glass damage. Overall measurements approximately 15" x 13". I purchased 5 owl pictures from this one lovely estate. This one and then a group of 4 that are in like frames, but all different owls. The latter will be listed per the group since they match and will make a nice gallery wall. If you love owls and are interested, I'm happy to combine for shipping. Shipping: A heavy frame and glass covering over the print. It will ship with plenty of paper wrap and cardboard fit over the glass before boxing. The measurements put it in an oversized category.
