Description: This listing is for 2 lbs. of Long Leaf Needle Pine needles from the trees on our property in Boiling Spring Lakes, NC. BSL is a designated bird sanctuary for the Red Cockaded Woodpecker. Where we live the larger long leaf needle pines are protected as we are in a designated foraging area for this endangered species. As well it’s their favored nesting tree. Most of the needles range in size from 12-14 inches. Some even 15 inches long! Hand picked…nice and straight.
