Mid-Century, nautical themed oil painting on canvas of multiple sailboats on Lake Michigan. I'm projecting this since I live on Lake Michigan and painting is from a Chicago estate. It is artist signed, I cannot make out the last name, first intial is R for Rick or Rich, name is penciled on back of canvas. Very moody palette, expressive, possibly sunset or more likely perhaps as a storm approaches. Displays great. Measures approx. 9" tall x 12" wide. Very good pre-owned older vintage condition. Some surface scuffs on viewer's left, see pics, may clean off- not very obvious. Some very light crazing along top in clouds (center top area). Nails into stretcher are nearly all bent.
