Description: As the title says the diameter of this chop plate is 12 and a 1/2 inches. There are 2 slashes or lines that have been ground through the crossed swords, which means it is a 2nd deemed of unsuitable quality for their high standards, which is crazy because today's porcelain makers wouldn't even think twice about something so minor; and what I mean by minor, it is very obvious why this was considered a factory second, as the outer ring bottom has some warping meaning it is not perfectly round, indicated by the small blue line which marks this area. The reason I know this, is because I have inspected this Chop Plate thoroughly under bright light and magnification at various angles. I have cleaned it thoroughly and have avoided handling it with my bare hands, which is why you see a terry cloth in the pictures. I have showed many close ups of all areas. There's a small dark dot, there's various numbers, and I do not see any scratches anywheres, although I could have missed something very tiny and insignificant. The gold trim is in great condition with only some tiny areas of loss. Please check pictures as they are part of the description. This weighs 2 pounds 10 oz. I recycle boxes and packaging materials. I pack with great care. Shipping is retail ground which can take 7 to 10 days to arrive so please be patient. Optional priority mail is available. If you have any problems please contact me first before leaving negative feedback and I will make things right. Categories are general and do not have precedence over item description. 021224
