Mark Schultz Scenes From the Xenozoic Age Wooden Box Portfolio S&N #15/99

Description: Up for sale is the holy grail of Mark Schultz and Xenozoic Age collectibles: the wooden box portfolio, Scenes From the Xenozoic Age, a collection of ten archival quality prints, five each in two vellum envelopes inside a cardboard folder woth a Xenozoic band, in a wooden box. The bottom of the wooden box has the metal limitation plate showing #15/99. One of the plates in the portfolio is signed and numbered by Mark Schultz #15/99. The plates are in excellent condition, as is the wooden box. The cardboard folder is sealed at the top and bottom with a ringlet/ eyelet that has worn through the cardboard on both top sides of the cardboard as seen in the photos. The vellum folders that hold the prints are slightly indented where they rested against the bottom metal ringlet/eyelets in the cardboard folder as seen in photo #8. Very rare, very hard to find, and rarely offered for sale. I'm aware of one copy having sold a few years ago for $4000. There's a project history booklet included as well that talks about the project as well as how this was put together, what materials, etc. This is a large wooden box (hand glued and assembled as noted in the project history booklet) measuring 13" wide and 19.5" tall.
