I will start by going over the positives of this outdoor blanket. I like the size and color of it. You can lay all the way out easily on the cute patchwork, either with another adult or a couple of small kids. I like how it folds and tucks away easily and you can hold it by the handle, instead of having to tuck it under your arm or something. You can even use it as a seat cushion after it's all folded and tucked. Since I use it mainly as a beach blanket, I appreciate the water resistance backing. You can just pick it up, dust it off and go. Now, having said all of that, I am sad to say that the material on the top part of the blanket does not feel good to lay on. I mean, it's better than laying directly on the sand. But, the material is not a soft cloth, it seems like it's just more water resistant cloth, like the material from a light rain jacket. It makes me sweaty and it sticks to my skin. If it weren't for that top cloth not feeling like a true blanket, I would give it 5 stars. As it stands, I don't want to use it much to lay on. Maybe I'll use it for my little ones. They probably don't care about being sweaty as much as I do. It is a large size blanket that can fit a whole family on it. It is 50 x 70”. They have many different colors available. It has a strap attached At the top That makes it very easy to carry. It has a pouch area attached where you can put drinks sunglasses or other small items like your cell phone inside of the pouches to keep them safe and dry while using. The blanket has water resistant backing and can also be used when folded as a seat cushion. The material is soft and seems very easy to clean. Maybe just a clean wet wipe or wet towel and a little water. This blanket is extremely lightweight. This blanket will definitely be used all spring and summer long during our outings to the park and the beach. I would definitely recommend this mainstays blanket to friends and family. It is a super soft and smooth printed outdoor blanket. The bottom is completely waterproof and stitched very well and seems durable. I really love the bright tie dye print! It is so fun and welcoming to just lay on. I especially like to put blankets down on grass nearby home because it is cleaner. Plus it is great to sit out and unpack a picnic basket on. So if my kid drops her food it's safe on this blanket. We have used it as a play area surface too. We brought outside a few favorite toys and coloring books and crayons. It is soft enough to lay on your back or stomach too. I really love also that it can just easily fold together and you can bend it into the pocket on it with carrying handles! When my kid starts playing softball I plan to bring this along. It is machine washable and would just air dry it. Overall it is the perfect outdoor blanket that is built to last! The only thing I would change about it is add a matching picnic basket as a set with it.Yes I recommend this!
