Description: Lovely Antique SUN PURPLE GLASS Pressed Open MASTER SALT Bowl Click images to enlarge Description ANTIQUE PRESSED GLASS MASTER SALT Lovely antique Victorian pressed glass master salt bowl measuring 3-1/4" wide by 1-1/2" tall. Featuring a wonderful sun purple color, it stands on flat base with two rows of pressed teardrops and a center band similar to a rope design. This was my Grandmother's - I remember the last time she used it in the 1950s when setting a formal table. Condition is good with minor nipping around the interior of the bowl edge from contact with a spoon - there are rough area around the center band and minor overall usage wear - none of this detracts - the color is a lovely soft violet purple.
