Description: Great lot of 5 Sport Aircraft magazines from 1972. These magazines are in readable, but poor to acceptable condition. They have been openly stored in a workshop in Florida for many years. As such, they have some condition issues - including bug damage, staining, some page sticking, and rusty staples from the humidity. Many of the covers are detached or detaching. Despite this, they are still very nice and retain structural integrity. The magazines are complete, but if you are looking for very good condition magazines these might not be for you. This lot is perfect for the reader who doesn't mind some condition issues and wants the magazines for the stories and content. Any questions just ask. Will ship with extra care. Happy to combine shipping (other years available in other listings). GB --- Sport Aviation is an aviation magazine published since 1953 starting as The Experimenter. The content focuses on experimental homebuilding of aircraft and general aviation topics, including antique, war, and classic aircraft. In 1953 the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) released a two-page newsletter named The Experimenter. The newsletter was written and published by founding members Paul and Audrey Poberezny along with other volunteers. It quickly changed to a magazine format published by Times Publishing (Random Lake, Wisconsin). The Experimenter was renamed to Sport Aviation but the name was reused in 2012 for the new EAA online magazine focusing on homebuilt aircraft. Sport Aviation became a benefit of membership in the organization. EAA Experimenter ended its publications in May 2015.
