In small characters at the base is 2 6 9 ROOT 12 Root would later design the hobble skirt Coca Cola bottle that became slightly famous. The bottom has the C C B company logo with TRADEMARK REGISTERED lettered around it. Lomax probably was Chicago's most prolific bottler. This style bottle is NOT at the top of the bottle designs used by Lomax. We do not know when it was made but Root Glass started making bottles in 1901.
