The date of this compilation reissue is most likely 1969, although that is uncertain. The cover is VG+. There is not much information in the liner notes on the back cover, and there is no insert. There is only the music of Lightnin' and the occasional contributions of Big Joe Williams, Sonny Terry & Brownie Mcghee. Things could be far worse. This record appears to be part of Everest Record's Archive of Folk and Jazz music. The front of the album seems to indicate that by placing the logo beneath the list of tracks on the record. But the use of the logo is ambiguous. Is the record put into the archive or is it made up of recordings from the archive? We are not told. The back-notes also imply that this record is a re-mastering of old 78s. According to a member of Discogs, that also is not true. That member says this recording is a compilation of tracks from records already published in 1960 and '61. Regardless, the virtuoso playing and singing of Lightin' Hopkins is remarkable.
