The book was first published in 1800, but the cherry tree story was added in an 1806 edition. This edition features six engravings, including a frontispiece of Washington. It is bound in leather with a red spine label. Well worn boards with secure hinges (please see pics). Chipped spine pastedowns. Intact endpapers bear light, penciled period inscriptions.
