This piece has a beautiful composition, featuring local villagers on bottom, standing below god-like figures. Surrounded by a lush, stylized landscape background. A temple-like building rises above, and opens up into an ethereal vision of agrarian life. The sides of the painting show white flowers and palms. Likely dates from 1970's - 1980's. “Bali 1983” noted on reverse; possibly year of purchase. Presented in a decorative frame. Very good overall vintage condition, having some storage wear.
