Description: Large Bison, Buffalo, Cow Partial Skull Bone Fossil Ice Age Partially Petrified condition. I don't know what kind of skull it is but I think it is cool. The skull continues to shed a very thin layer of mud, I'm sure some will come off during shipping. It was found in local South Dakota stream. A SDSU professor said these fossils are usually carbon dated 500 to 5000 years old. All my bones and fossils have been sprayed with a clear enamel sealer to help protect and stabilize the material.
