Description: Los Angeles Dodgers and Unocal 76 issued a series of pins from 1987 to 1990. This pin, in New Condition, # 5 in the series, commemorates Olympic Baseball in the 1984 LA Olympic Games played in Dodger Stadium. It was very cool seeing teams from around the world playing the American Game. Big John and I went down to see the South Koreans play the Slavic team in Olympics Baseball. That ping of that aluminum bat bothered me, when somebody got a hit. It didn't sit well with me being at a game in Dodger Stadium, not hearing the crack of the bat. Real baseball should be played with Wood! These enamel metal pins with backing clasp, were issued individually plastic wrapped with an information description card for each pin. This pin, 1.25 x 1 inches, still with original card in original packaging, unworn.
