Group 116-22807 Here's something unusual (in the United States, that is) -- what the Italians refer to as "FUMETTI" -- a story told in "comic book" fashion, using individual full color photographs and live human beings, whose speech is indicated by word balloons above their heads. I recall both Marvel Comics and Warren Publications (plus a few other smaller publishers) experimenting with "fumetti" back in the 1960s and 1970s; but the style just didn't catch on with American readers. So what we have in this particular issue of KISS COLOR, is a full color photo-story entitled "On Est Du Meme Signe. . .," which my wife has translated as "We Are Of The Same Sign" -- a French "soap opera" romance, featuring the following actors and actresses: SONIA De GAUDENZ ; ALESSANDRO INCHES ; GERALDINE THOMAS ; DANILO VERDE ; MICHELA ROC ; PASCAL PERSIANO ; GIORGIANA GALLI ; & ANTONIO ZEQUILA. I'm not sure if it will compete in any way with THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL or THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS; but give it a try anyway, if your eyes need a break from reading those Harlequin romances!
