Description: This vintage press photo features Jimmy Jordan (1908-1957). He was a member of the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team between 1933 and 1937. He was an infielder, playing second and third base, as well as shortstop. He had 1273 major league at bats and his career batting average was .257. His highest season batting average was .275 in 1935. After Jordan's playing career, he managed the Hutchinson Pirates (Kansas) and the London Pirates (Ontario, Canada). The reverse of this vintage press photo was stamped by the Central Press Association in 1933. The photo measures about 7 x 9 inches and is in very good condition (see scans).
