He is considered a pioneer of pop electronica. Perrey partnered with composer-performer Gershon Kingsley to form the electronic music duo Perrey and Kingsley, who issued some of the first commercial recordings featuring the Moog synthesizer. Perrey was also one of the first to promote, perform, and record with the Ondioline. I got to meet JEAN-JACQUES PERRY when I was working as a DISNEY IMAGINEER. His music is the soundtrack tio the MAIN STREET ELECTRICAL PARADE at DISNEYLAND. Jean-Jacques Perrey, the French composer and pioneer of electronic pop music who was best known for co-writing Baroque Hoedown used as the music for the Main Street Electrical Parade at Disney theme parks, has died at age 87. he Beastie Boys and Smashmouth sampled (or ripped off, respectively) Perrey.Female irritable bowel system has also had a TV ad scored by a Perrey cut.
