I started off with about the same amount (10 grams) of Java Moss and now it's in every single one of my 10 tanks. Not only is Java Moss GREAT for inside an Aquarium but it also can IMMEDIETLY be left OUTSIDE of water like if you were setting up a Paludarium. It DOES NOT have to be submerged in water to thrive. Just sprits it with water or keep in a humid area and it will thrive. RESILIENT is literally the best word for this moss. This moss can be used and will thrive submerged or in a landscape. Tie it to a rock or log and it will begin to carpet it over time with enough lighting. The more light you have the faster it will spread.
