Description: Up for auction is a stunning aesthetics movement silver plated teapot by James W. Tufts of Boston, Massachusetts. The teapot comes with original stand and tilts for pouring liquids. The pot is extensively decorated with a hammered style body and covered with leaves and fruit. Truly the best example I have personally seems by Tufts. Measures slightly over 15" tall when on stand and 7.5" wide. Weighs approximately 5.5 pounds. There are some condition issues such a some slight warping, scratching and dents throughout.
