Description: This is a beautiful J Chein tin lithograph wind-up drummer boy is a parade soldier. This fabulous drumming soldier is wearing a red jacket with gold accents, a black hat with chinstrap, and turquoise pants with a red and black stripe down the side and stands on a red tin base. He has a windup key and mechanism but doesn't work. This is a cool, nearly 100-year-old toy that has wear commensurate with age. This Chein drumming soldier is a nice example of the early American tin toy market and will make a great addition to your collection. This tin toy stands 8.5" tall.
