For some of us who have forgotten the magic of Copland's composition, the CD is a peaceful reminder of his genius while many of us, unfamiliar with Harris' abilities, will find his 3rd Symphony powerful and yet subtle in tone and vibrant in its string and horn renditions. I would recommend the CD to first-listeners of either composer.
