INGRID FROMEL BUCKLEY Born in Czechoslovakia, Ingrid Fromel Buckley grew up ion the art-filled city of Vienna, Austria. She graduated from the Stuttgart Kunst (Art) Academy in Germany where she studied watercolor, lithography and fashion illustration. Following graduation she worked as a graphic designer for two leading advertising agencies in Stuttgart. Ingrid moved to New York and lived in Brooklyn Heights for several years working as a freelance fashion Illustrator. Her clients included Bloomingdales and Federated Dept. Stores. Traveling to Vermont during a City getaway, Ingrid instantly fell in love with what she found there and moved their full-time to concentrate on watercolors and oils. Her renderings of vibrant and overflowing still life’s, interiors, flowers and landscapes possess a vitality and complexity that makes them a joy to study . . . and then study some more. Over the past several years Ingrid has shown her work at the Stratton Arts Festival, several one woman shows at the Southern Vermont Art Center, the Springfield Art and Historical Society, the Basin Harbor Club Annual Art show and numerous galleries and private collections around the country.
