Each piece is marked under the base and on the lid with Russian silver hallmarks for St Petertsburg, 84 silver standard. Maker's mark "AL". Aron Lydikain (Lydicke) silversmith, born 1819, had a shop and retail store in St. Petersburg 1849 - 1881.
