It is designed for rapid screening of PCR fragments, RFLP analysis or plasmid screening, field inversion, genomic DNA separations, and electrophoresis procedures requiring recirculation. The HR2025 is constructed of durable cast acrylic which stands up to high voltages and extreme temperatures without cracking or warping for years of dependable operation. The combs are machined Delrin™ and come in a variety of configurations including some that are multi-channel pipette compatible. The unit can accommodate up to 4 combs, each containing 40 wells, for a total of 160 samples. The quick casting system is based on a compressible gasket for ease of use without the need for adjustments or leaky gates. The HR-2025 is designed for high resolution electrophoresis. The maximum suggested applied voltage for the electrophoresis of DNA in agarose gels using the HR-2025 is 140 V. The suggested run parameters for the electrophoresis of RNA in agarose gels containing formaldehyde is 60-80 V. The IB56000 has a patented vented lid.
