Description: For sale is a used excellent condition Ibanez S520EX in Black with custom installed Fishman Fluence Devon Townsend Signature pickups and an Ibanez Saber edition hardshell case. When I installed the fishmans, I replaced the barrel jack and the blade pickup selector switch as well to ensure good clean 3 position switching. I have installed a battery compartment in the back for the 9volt battery. I have owned this guitar for 4 years and sadly have not been really playing it for the last 3 years. I have other guitars that I use more frequently so it is time for it to find a home where it can be used. The neck is straight and is excellent feeling to play on. If you have always wished that Ibanez would have put active pickups in a Saber series guitar, this is your chance to own one. These Devon Townsend pickups make this guitar sound great in any musical situation you find yourself in. Edit 02/18/24 Added a few more pictures. I was asked if there were any cracks on the neck pocket and I never locked until today. There is one crack and I have circled it in one of the pictures. It is small and I can’t tell if it is paint or deeper without taking it fully apart. I also took a picture of the batter compartment I installed.
