Description: Usual library markings and card pouch. Suitable for study and research. Formerly belonged to college library. Book has been library-repaired and is in serviceable condition, with full text present. It is still a bit fragile due to the stiff library tape causing some of the front pages to turn stiffly. It is quite usable, though, with reasonable care. Spine, corners, and edges have been reinforced, as well as internal cover hinges. A few of the first pages have had tape applied. Binding is intact. There are few blemishes to the text of any consequence. Noted one page with 2 inch tear on front edge and one with a 1.5 inch tear on bottom edge. One page had a small notation by page number. Pages are mildly age-tanned, but easily readable. Text pages are generally in good condition. Some of the lead-in pages such as Contents section have been taped near spine. Some have rough outer edges. There are a couple of small ink stains on the outer front page edges. The book is lavishly illustrated with architecture and other works of art, many of which are rendered in exquisite detail. 743 pages plus a catalog at back of "Valuable and interesting Works for Students of Ancient and Modern Art". 9 inches x 6.5 inches. The book will be well-packed with due consideration for it's age and condition.
