Finger grips are cut into the sides for easy movement. This feature also allows them to be charcuterie boards. They have rubber stoppers on the base to raise it off the counter and provide a stable base. It's finished with a mineral oil and beeswax combination that gives it buttery smoothness and enhanced protection.
