Common Issues: The LCD displays "Y POSITION ALARM" and the machine emits an alarm sound. The pen carriage movement direction (left/right) makes a regular noise (usually due to bearing damage inside the motor). Notes: New motors do not come with gears. The shaft surface of a new motor is smooth without screw marks, whereas used motors will have marks. Once installed, returns are not accepted! When replacing, the gear from the old motor's shaft must be used on the new motor, and the gear position on the new motor's shaft should be approximately the same. After installing the motor gear with the timing belt, ensure the belt tension is moderate. Compare the red and black power wire sequences of the new and old motors. This motor does not come with signal wires. There is no need to remove the signal wires when disassembling the old motor; the new motor uses the existing signal wires.
