Description: These are 2 rare promotional DVDs of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. The NYC concert is from 2011 and was filmed in Bryant Park, New York City (60 minutes). The Chicago concert is from 2013 (50 minutes) and was filmed at Lalaopolooza in Grant Park. The quality of the audio and video is perfect. Both DVDs are official screeners. They have basic information stamped on them and come in plastic jewel cases with no inserts or covers. The DVDs were not issued sealed. Both DVDs are in perfect mint condition and have never been viewed. Both DVDs are region-free and will play anywhere in the world. DVD #1 - NYC SHOW (last three photos) --As one of the last days of summer winded down on the Southwest Porch in New York's Bryant Park, Vermont rockers Grace Potter & The Nocturnals sent the season out in style with a night of funk, rock, and soul. Along with stand-outs from their self-titled 2010 album such as "Paris (Ooh La La)," "Medicine," and of course, "Hot Summer Night." Grace Potter & the Nocturnals stretched the heat wave past sunset Thursday night with a sizzling free concert under the stars in Bryant Park...where a girl and her band (who've enjoyed critical and cult admiration) showed they could hold their own with the biggest acts in music. The moment wasn't lost on Potter, who played enough funk, rock and sweet soul to impress any newcomer. She kept playing, she told the crowd, because, "You guys are music junkies, just like me." Songs from the band's recently released self-titled record, choice covers, as well as early hits including "Ah Mary" and "Stop the Bus" were all branded with Potter's vivacious vocal sexiness, and the kind of re- sounding determination that said she meant what she sang.
