The dial and movement both have the word "Foreign" on them. From what I have read the German clock makers used the "Foreign" mark either so they would not have gotten into trouble for making items during the war, and/or so they could be sold in the US and UK. The movement is an 8 day triple chime on rods. It plays either Westminster, Saint Michaels, or Whittington (aka St. Mary's). The case is made of English Walnut with Mahogany Art Deco design. The dial and bezel is silver with black Arabic numerals. The chime select on the dial has silent, St.Michaels, Whittington, Westminster. *We will try to straighten up the dial before shipping.
