Description: There are many things to love about the first-generation model of the 1956 Ford Thunderbird; first lets look at the exterior that features the spare tire mounted on the outside of the car, which frees up the trunk space, the exhaust tips are located at the end of the bumper and cowl vents were added to help with distribution of the heat from the engine. There were also porthole windows available on the hardtop to provide a safer visibility with the top in place. The interior featured two toned accents that really popped against the color of the exterior. This limited edition from the Franklin Mint has some added benefits that lend to its collectability; the color is known as Goldenrod Yellow, and this is number 0377 out of the limited production of 1000. Franklin Mint designed this replica out of die cast metal with plastic parts, with doors that open to show the details inside, the hood lifts to show off the V8 engine and the trunk also opens to display the limited-edition production number 0377/1000. This model is NEW IN BOX and was taken out of the box for photos and has never been displayed. This model also includes all of the original paperwork.
