Description: Offered for your consideration is a set of four clear glass individual berry bowls or sauce dishes made by Adams & Company (1861-1891) in their "Opera" pattern. Also known as "Actress", "Jenny Lind", or "Pinafore", this pattern dates circa 1880s. The bowls measure 4 inches (10.2 cm) in diameter and are 1.25 inches (3.2 cm) tall. These small dishes are in fine used condition with no cracks, noticeable scratches, nor repairs. There are assorted chips and roughness in spots along rims, see photos. Dishes are used so there may be minor wear, faint surface scratches, or additional indications of use. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There may be bubbles, shear (straw) marks, and other minor imperfections due to the manufacturing process used at the time. This set of four individual berry bowls will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
