Description: This is a complete FMI QSY-2 lab pump with 2SSY pump head. Stainless steel piston is 3/8-inch in diameter, the cylinder case is 316 stainless steel and the cylinder liner is carbon. The motor works perfectly. The pump head was corroded and required work to loosen the nut. So there are wrench bite marks on the metal. It was treated for corrosion and cleaned up. It pumped water after priming but the head would benefit from new sealing gaskets or refurbishing. New heads are sold by Fluid Metering Inc. Used heads can be found on eBay. Flow directions and flowrate is adjustable (up to 51.8 mL/min) by turning the knob to change the head angle. There are spots of corrosion, discoloration or missing paint (see photos) on the motor but it is working fine. This pump system is sold with the understanding that its head is in poor condition.
