Description: This fine original hand tinted color photograph is by Norman Edson (1879-1968). It depicts Mt. Rainier from the Paradise side and is entitled in Edson's hand: Trail to Paradise. I think is dates to c. 1925. It is archivally matted and framed by the University Frame Shop and Gallery in Seattle's university District. The matting and framing was probably done in about 1980. The image size of the photo is 5" x 7". The framed size is 9.75" x 12". There is a little gilding loss to the top of the frame (touched up) otherswise the frame and photo are in fine condition.
