Those sleeves are cut from a roll of premade paper that is not the proper weight or grade of paper and they may also contain dyes that may damage your branches. Using the wrong sleeves can actually damage your tree. We are collectors of these trees ourselves and therefore understand the needed quality. There are cheaper sleeves out there but they are not the same quality. Most other sleeves are low grade paper that is Made in China. There may be slight variation as they are handmade, sleeves should be popped open prior to use as they are shipped flat. My daughter has made sleeves for years and has sold them to some of the largest collectors in the world, museums, historical societies, individual collectors, famous celebrities and authors.
