Smith Acceptable Condition The book has obviously been used. There are no rips in the cover. There is a bend in the front cover from it being held open. A coffee? stain has bled a bit onto the top & side (inside) of the back cover-about an inch. The coffee? stain encompasses 2 sides of the book, but it didn't bleed into the pages. It seemed to just touch the outer edges of the pages as you can see in the pictures. There are EXACTLY 27 pages of this 366 page book that have underlining (in ink) along with yellow highlighting. Yes, I went through the entire book, so that there is full disclosure. 19 of those pages are in chapter 1 up to page 36. The remaining are here and there. A breakdown of what pages the underlining and highlighting is on:Pgs 10-11, 14-18, 20-21, 23, 28-36, 174-176, 178, 180, 330, 334-335 The remaining pages are clean and look great. You do have that coffee? stain on the outermost edge of about half the book. When I picked it up and first went through it, I was expecting those pages to be warped and have that odd texture when paper gets wet and then dries. It does not. I would not have purchased it if it did. Please look at the pictures and videos and decide for yourself if it will work for you and this class you probably didn't want to take anyways :-) If owning a used book with some use on it will keep you up at night questioning your very existence, please pass on it...I see a few that cost quite a bit more that are available. If it helps you out and saves you a few $$'s, I'll keep it listed for a year or so before donating it.. Thanks for looking...
