Description: Erphila Ebeling Reuss SET 4 Dorset Cheery Chintz Antique Demitasse Cups Saucers Click images to enlarge Description I just purchased this SET of (4) "Dorset - Cheery Chintz" demitasse / expresso cups and saucers from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The line was produced by a number of porcelain factories in Germany and Czechoslovakia in the 1920's / early 1930's for importer Ebeling & Reuss Co. under their "ERPHILA" trade name. The cups and saucers are well executed with thin walls, flared cup bowl and scalloped saucer with indent. The chintz floral transfer shows rich color and fine detail on each. The cups measure 2 3/8" high and 2 ¾" across the top rim, the saucers are 4 3/8" in diameter. The bases bear the pictured "ER ERPHILA" "GERMANY" mark. ALL FOUR sets are in very good condition with no damage (some faint fine clear glaze crazing on one saucer). This lovely ERPHILA set would make a fun addition to your collection of vintage Dorset Cheery Chintz dinnerware. Payment Payment must be received within three days following the close of the auction.
