Interior is bright white. Marked EASTER 1990 on the egg’s top half. NOTE: All Halcyon molds are destroyed on the 30th of April in the year marked, thus preventing reproduction. The egg is ancestor of the Battersea Bilston boxes created in the 1700s. Halcyon handmakes several Easter designs for each year. Halcyon Days mark is inside. Created in the traditional, hand-crafted, Georgian technique of enamel on copper. Includes original blue box with velvet interior, Certificate of Authenticity.
