Description: Antique English Brass Watering Can 3 Qt Henry Loveridge & Co *Read Description* Condition: This antique pre-owned item would be great as a home decor display piece. This is not a perfect piece but still a shiny brass eye catcher from Henry Loveridge & Co circa 1860 - 1927. This watering can has some dings and dimples from over time. The lid does not close flush with container. It also has some wear marks by both handles where they meet the container top. NOTE if use as functional watering can: It has a leak at the seam on the right side of the spout. The right side area could be welded as was previously done on the left side of the spout. Watering can would then be functional. Please see photos as they are part of the description. Antique English brass watering can with 2 handles and water chamber cover in classic architectural style. This style has been the tradition in England for over a century. Creator's makers mark stamped and numbered on underside by Henry Loveridge & Co. These watering cans were originally used to transport water in large English homes before running water. The pictured item is the actual item you will receive.
