Description: Offered for sale is an E. Howard 12-1/2 Clock Movement. This nickel plated Howard 12-1/2 movement was used in Marble faced gallery clocks with chapter ring diameter of 30” or larger. However, with the short pendulum length this limits the usage to the round or square overall style cases. To handle the extra weight load of hands used on 24” or larger clocks the drum diameter was increased over the 11-1/2 movement. This movement should be suitable for use in E. Howard Marble faced Gallery clocks with chapter ring diameters of 30-48” without pendulum bob view window. The movement includes the external speed control fittings to the top of the case, but not the relay rod, movement anchor clamps, or bottom ledge bar.
