Description: The Orange Bird is a character created by Disney for the Florida Citrus Commission who sponsored the Tiki Room. The Orange Bird was a mascot and has been a prominently featured character in Magic Kingdom's Adventureland at the Sunshine Tree Terrace located near Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. This is a RARE Animation Pencil Drawing of The Orange Bird from two short films titled "Foods and Fun: A Nutrition Adventure" and "The Orange Bird and the Nutrition Bandwagon". In 2004, at Tokyo Disneyland, the Orange Bird would experience a revival. Eventually, on April 17, 2012, the Orange Bird made a proper return to the "Sunshine Tree Terrace" at Disney. Color print copy of Orange Bird, from Walt Disney World, is included at no additional charge. Created by Disney Animator Bob Moore in 1967 and animated, in the 1970's, by Playhouse Pictures and Rick Reinert Productions. This original animation pencil drawing measures 10 1/2" x 12 1/2", drawing B52. Orange Bird measures about 2" tall.
