Description: Commemorative postage stamp Size : 40 x 50 mm the motif of the stamp is based on an original poster by Jiří Rathouský mapping the development of the typeface. Jiří Rathouský designed the poster to promote the ATypI conference of typographers held in Prague in 1969. The conference brought together leading typographers from Europe and overseas. The motifs are simple yet extremely distinctive and memorable. Even at the time of their creation they attracted extraordinary attention, and they have not lost their appeal to this day.
