Description: Offered is an original confederate veterans cavalry slouch hat dating back to the 1880’s. It was worn by a veteran of the confederate states army who served in the cavalry signified by the yellow ribbon and CSA pin. The hat is very old and well worn back in the late 1800’s. It’s certainly not period civil war but veterans era, and definitely not sons era, but a real veteran hat. I’ve had this in my collection for about 15 years now. It’s well used so photos are part of description. Please ask questions.
