Description: Gorgeous and colourful pair of vintage rhinestone earrings produced by Canadian firm Continental Jewellery of Montreal. Undated, but likely from the late 1940's or 1950's. Each earring features a large oval iridescent rhinestone at the base with 10 smaller stones of multiple sizes grouped into two tendrils extending upwards. Smaller stones are predominantly clear with a larger green, purple, and yellow stone as well. All stones are prong set. Marked "CONTINENTAL" on the clips. Earrings show their age(see condition desc.), but are still splendid! Would make a contrarian addition to a Sherman collection, as these were a competitor from the same city and produced in the same time-frame.
