Description: Civil War Confederate Centennial 1960’s Reenactment/Parade CSA General’s Tunic and UCV 1920’s-1930’s Hat……..Condition and description as follows: 21 pit to pit; shoulder seam to cuff 26 inches; shoulder to shoulder 17.5 inches; this tunic appears to be made for Centennial of the Civil War very well made,light wear, aged patena……the UCV hat is a medium-large,without lining, construction in 20’s-30’s putting it in the UCV period, has CSA insignia, when the hat was purchased it had feathers attached outside the black hat band however this seller after further closer inspection suspected the feathers could be in the Federally protected endangered species category therefore all feathers were handed over to the local police where they will contact the Field & Game authorities who if so will put the artifacts back into the rightful hands of the Native American spiritual community. The other verbal provenance which was received was that this came from a Florida estate and was showcased on the dress mannequin dated 1947 please see last photo .This listing is for tunic and hat only the flag as backdrop is not included.
