Description: Great little antique hinged Chinese box measures 4 X 3 1/4", and is 1 1/2" tall. It has a beautiful hardwood interior, and a gorgeous cloisonné enamel medallion on top; the disk design at top measures 1 3/8" across. There is a nice embossed floral design all the way around, and is is stamped made in China. Trinkets? Tobacco?, I'm not sure of original purpose, but great sturdy old metal box is beautiful and practical. Christmas is coming.
