Any noteworthy flaw on any product that we offer that comes to our attention is disclosed. Due to the delicate nature of antique furniture & decorative art each piece is subject to reasonable wear and tear. We simply don’t sell pieces that have major issues as we completely avoid them. The exception to this would be rare pieces that have an intrinsic value regardless of condition with their true condition noted in the listing. We represent all merchandise in absolute good faith and to the very best of our ability. All sales are final; items are sold AS-IS and with the sale subject to Michigan’s General Laws. Each item must be carefully packed in custom boxes or crates with the use of bubble wrap, peanuts, and other blocking materials. While we do our best in buying shipping materials in bulk, and use the most efficient packing methods, we must incorporate the cost of custom packing in our shipping price. If the buyer can not personally pick up the item(s) purchased we will assist in the pickup by the buyer's selected third party. The third party will act solely as an agent of the buyer who would be solely responsible for any possible damage that may occur after release by the Gallery. We will assist in trying to help the buyer in contacting a third party by supplying them with the local FedEx and UPS store numbers. We will also attempt to evaluate what our packing and shipping costs would be in comparison to FedEx and UPS, which in general would be much less as we do not profit off of our packing and shipping. While we cannot offer shipping on many larger items, and shipping is not a profit center for us, where feasible, it may be offered to the buyer as an alternative. If in the event we agree to pack and ship the item(s) the buyer will be invoiced through email prior to packing.
